Job summary

Monarch Money is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to drive budgeting, forecasting, and model maintenance for a fast-growing fintech. You will partner with Growth, Product, Engineering, People, and CS to ensure plans are understood and executable.

The role blends analytical rigor with business collaboration and requires turning complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in FP&A, strong Excel modeling, and a proven ability to simplify complex financial concepts for

Qualifications

• 4+ years in FP&A or corporate finance with a full planning cycle
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling
• Able to translate complex financial data for non-finance leaders
• Proactive in flagging variances and risks
• Open to building processes where none exist

Responsibilities

• Support the annual budget and quarterly re-forecast
• Maintain and extend the three-statement financial model
• Partner with departments for budget alignment and spend monitoring
• Produce month-end close, variance analyses, and reporting for board updates
• Automate recurring reporting in Aleph and Omni
