actuals reviews and maintain the operating model with our VP Finance, becoming the analytical partner to leadership on pricing decisions. This builder role focuses on marketplace economics—take rates, recruiter supply, time-to-hire, and placement timing—to inform revenue

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, PE, or top-tier consulting, with 1–2 years building models used by an operating team.
• Expert spreadsheet modeling — three-statement, driver-based forecasts, and scenario analysis.
• Comfortable presenting numbers to executives and turning ambiguous questions into clear answers.
• High ownership, low ego, and fast; work goes straight to the exec team and board.
• Bonus: marketplace/fintech usage-based background; Series B–C fundraising; planning tools or SQL/BI experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the operating model with the VP Finance and keep drivers current (revenue, GMV, headcount, OpEx).
• Model marketplace levers (recruiter incentives/retainers, pricing, take rate, fee structures) and track outcomes.
• Own unit economics (GMV, net revenue, take rate, payouts, LTV:CAC, payback).
• Run budget vs. actuals with monthly BVAs and variance explanations for leadership.
• Build the metrics layer with RevOps/BizOps to define metrics and dashboards used weekly.
• Automate reporting with AI to reduce manual processes across the company.
