Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A, to lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business partnering across G&A. You will work with executives to evaluate, plan, and measure strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

The role supports a hybrid working model with collaboration across offices. A strong background in finance and analytical skills is required, with experience in financial modeling and partnering with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business or economics preferred.
• 3–5 years of FP&A and/or analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, Google Suite, and Microsoft Excel; financial planning tools (Pigment) are a plus.
• Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Business partnering with G&A partners to align with company objectives.
• Forecast coordination and modelling to support budget planning and headcount planning.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses and build financial models to guide investments and resource allocation.
• Improve and scale business, operational, and financial processes, including reporting automation.
• Perform month-end close activities, headcount reconciliations, accrual reviews, and budget vs. actual analyses.
• Collaborate with recruiting and HR for workforce planning and executive reporting.
• Prepare schedules and analyses for planning cycles for management review.
• Analyze spend drivers such as token/AI and SaaS spend across the company.
