Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to drive planning, forecasting, and decision support for G&A. This hybrid role requires partnering with executives and leaders to evaluate initiatives, build models, and drive resource planning across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in FP&A, strong financial modeling and communication skills, and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid work model in US offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or economics.
• 3–5 years FP&A or analytical, quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, Google Suite, and Excel; Pigment is a plus.
• Ability to analyze data and develop actionable recommendations.
• Strong relationship-building with business partners at all levels; tech industry preferred.
• Drive for results with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Highly organized with rigorous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Business partnering with G&A partners to align with company objectives.
• Forecast coordination and modelling for headcount planning and optimization.
• Ad-hoc analyses and financial modeling to guide resource allocation.
• Operational effectiveness: standardize and automate reports and improve internal systems.
• Month-end close activities including headcount reconciliations and budget vs actuals.
• Collaborate with recruiting and HR on workforce planning for executives.
• Prepare schedules and analyses for planning cycles for management review.
• Analyze drivers of spend (token/AI, SaaS) and business performance.
