Job summary

Marsh Corporate seeks a Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis for its Corporate FP&A team in New York, NY. This hybrid role requires at least three days in the office weekly and reports to the Head of Financial Strategy & Analysis.

You will lead analytical projects, develop impactful presentations for senior leadership, and support consolidation efforts. Required: 5+ years in Finance/Accounting, advanced Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with major data providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with financial data providers such as FactSet, Bloomberg or Capital IQ.
• Strong financial modeling skills in Excel.
• Experience with Hyperion Planning, Essbase and Oracle Financials is preferred.
• Excellent written ability to craft narratives around financial results.

Responsibilities

• Execute analytical projects delivering insights for senior management on FP&A topics.
• Create compelling presentations for Board and Executive leadership.
• Contextualize MMC financial planning with industry and competitor data.
• Perform portfolio optimization and capital allocation analyses.
• Monitor macro indicators to shape budget, forecast and earnings processes.
• Build and maintain financial models for scenario analyses and decision making.
• Conduct competitor analyses to drive management insight.
• Support FP&A consolidations on earnings deliverables and monthly results.
