Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for the Financial Planning & Analysis team. The role supports Enterprise Technology and Operations (ET&O) with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close.

You will partner with leadership to drive financial planning, analyze trends, and implement process improvements across multiple divisions. The position is hybrid (Raleigh, NC or Phoenix, AZ) with time spent in the office and remotely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Finance or Analytics.
• OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Finance or Analytics.
• 6+ years FP&A experience with driver-based forecasting and allocations.
• Experience with Hyperion Essbase and advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and interact with senior partners.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting and forecasting: assist in budgets and forecasts, maintain models, analyze trends, and inform leadership.
• Reporting: produce reports from data analysis and identify areas for improvement.
• Business support: provide analytics expertise to management and governance across systems.
• Financial support: track performance, suggest workflow changes, ensure policy compliance.
