Job summary

Applied Systems in Chicago is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning and Analysis team in a hybrid environment. You will lead commission calculations, build financial models, and provide insights to optimize performance while collaborating with Sales and Finance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in FP&A, a finance/business degree (MBA/CPA preferred), and strong Excel skills. The role supports strategic budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

5+ years of FP&A and business partnership experience in software/SaaS.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field; MBA/CPA preferred.
Advanced financial analysis, modeling, budgeting and forecasting skills.
Strong analytical and proactive problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead company-wide commission calculations with accuracy and timeliness.
Drive analytics and financial modeling to identify trends and support decisions.
Enhance commission processes and reporting for efficiency and visibility.
Partner cross-functionally to implement pay plans and support forecasting.
