Job summary

CIBC US is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Chicago to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team. You will support consolidation, forecasting, reporting, and RWA analysis for the US Region, and help prepare investor and Board reports.

You will work in a hybrid environment, spending at least three days on-site in our Chicago office with remaining days remote. 5+ years in FP&A or Financial Reporting, strong Excel, Essbase, and BI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning or Financial Reporting, preferably in banking.
• Strong MS Excel skills including lookups, pivot tables, and data manipulation.
• Ability to prepare executive-level PowerPoint presentations outlining financial narratives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and Board reports for the US Region.
• Support forecasting, planning, and capital planning activities.
• Contribute to consolidated forecasting and RWA analysis to support strategic decision-making.
