Job summary

Vultr seeks a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to help build the planning and analysis engine for a high-growth AI infrastructure company. You’ll work across the full three-statement model supporting long-range planning, budgeting, forecasting, and executive reporting.

You will partner with Head of FP&A and CFO, handling contract-level deal economics and high-impact analytics. This is a generalist role with broad scope and exposure to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in investment banking, FP&A, corporate development, or a comparable role with direct ownership of three-statement financial models.
• Demonstrated analytical rigor: decompose a variance to its driver, quantify forward impact, and communicate findings to senior leadership.
• Comfort extracting economic terms directly from contracts, order forms, and transaction documents.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel financial modeling, including scenario and sensitivity architecture.
• High ownership and pace: able to run multiple workstreams in a lean, fast-moving team with executive visibility.
• Investment banking experience with exposure to infrastructure, data center, cloud or semiconductor industries is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure business models, usage/consumption billing, or large-scale CapEx-intensive businesses.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver-based three-statement financial models: income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow; support long-range planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Manage internally owned long-range planning model: document assumptions, build scenario/sensitivity, and roll forward each cycle.
• Own monthly forecast and close cadence: consolidate revenue, opex, headcount, capex; reconcile to GL actuals; provide variance analysis.
• Model contract-level economics: revenue ramp, deployment timing, and capital-side analysis including unit economics and debt service.
• Analyze complex infrastructure contract structures: revenue shares, capacity backstops, residual value guarantees, prepayments.
• Prepare management, board, and lender-facing reporting: budget-vs-actual bridges, KPI packages, and analyses for decisions.
• Build scenario tooling across the plan: deployment slips, renewals, pricing sensitivity, and capital deployment options.
• Support ad hoc strategic and transaction analysis, including debt and equity financing processes.
