Job summary

Lambda is seeking a finance partner to drive FP&A for Engineering, Product, and Cloud Services. You will own budgets, forecast cash flow, and build ROI models for new product introductions, while partnering with engineering and product teams to ensure financial discipline across the org.

The role demands strong financial modeling, an ability to translate data into actionable insights, and a track record of delivering cost optimization in a high-growth cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 4+ years in FP&A or related finance roles, preferably in Cloud/AI infra or SaaS.
• Experience partnering with Engineering or Product on budgets and investments.
• Strong financial modeling and analysis skills; ability to build complex models.
• Excellent communication and ability to present data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own project-level budgets, spend tracking, and cost-to-complete forecasts for Engineering and Product initiatives.
• Quantify internal capacity consumption and build allocation/chargeback methods.
• Partner with Infrastructure on fleet optimization, utilization, and reclamation opportunities.
• Model pricing, ROI, and post-investment measurement for new products and initiatives.
• Deliver monthly/quarterly budget vs. actual analyses and explain drivers to leaders.
