Job summary

Lawson Products, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our corporate FP&A team in Chicago. You will support the Director of Finance and the FP&A group in annual budgeting, strategic planning, monthly forecasts and the analysis of operating results.

You will build financial models, deliver reports, and partner with various functions to drive accuracy, opportunities and risk awareness. This role also supports treasury tasks and system stewardship in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field.
• Five+ years of progressive experience in forecasting, reporting and analysis.
• Advanced Excel with VBA/macros, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Strong knowledge of SAP, BPC/EPM, and BPC reporting.
• Excellent communication and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Supports annual budget, monthly forecast, and strategic plan.
• Develops financial models for projects and investments.
• Leads regular financial reviews with management.
• Assists treasury with cash management and reconciliations.
• Prepares bank activity and capital expenditure reviews.
