Job summary

Flexport in San Francisco seeks a strategic FP&A/Finance partner to drive forecasting, planning, and the close while advancing AI-enabled workflows across the enterprise. You will work closely with GMs and North America leadership within Sales and Operations to deliver clear, actionable insights.

You will translate commercial and operational questions into data-driven analysis, partnering with Accounting, Data Analytics, and cross-functional teams to enable timely decisions and reliable numbers.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, Business Operations, or Data Analytics.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (required).
• Financial Modeling: Strong modeling and Excel/GSheets skills (required).
• Technical Skillset: SQL, Snowflake, Claude Code/Codex, Linux, Git/GitHub knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales & Operations Leadership to monitor trends and communicate performance.
• Translate business questions into analysis to drive decisions and unblock bottlenecks.
• Lead process improvements and scale AI-enabled financial workflows.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cadence with Accounting.
• Collaborate with Data Analytics on KPIs and dashboard maintenance.
• Support forecasting, planning, and budget vs actual analyses.
