Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. in San Diego is seeking a Senior Planner within the Foundry Capacity Planning team to forecast, plan capacity, and schedule wafer starts for foundry resources. This role serves as the primary point of contact for capacity and forecasting topics and aligns with sourcing, inventory strategies and demand fulfillment.

This role requires full-time onsite work in San Diego, CA (5 days per week).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Operations, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 2+ years of Supply Chain, Product Planning, or related work experience.
• Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master's = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
• Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of capacity and material requirements planning.
• Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end oversight of foundry capacity planning and forecasting for assigned suppliers and geometries.
• Develop wafer start schedules that optimize capacity utilization, mitigate constraints, and meet demand requirements while minimizing inventory exposure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including sourcing, planning, finance, and business units to secure and effectively utilize foundry capacity.
• Monitor evolving customer requirements and assess the organization’s ability to meet them in a timely manner.
• Provide in-depth data analysis and actionable recommendations to support strategic initiatives.
