Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking Principal to Senior AI engineers for a 100% remote role focused on Palantir Foundry and AIP. The role emphasizes production-grade data apps, ontology, and examiner workflows within a regulated industry.

Ideal candidates will have 6–8 years in software engineering, hands-on Foundry experience, and familiarity with enterprise security, PHI handling, and AI-enabled workflows. Remote work with direct-hire permanence is offered.

Qualifications

• Six to eight years of software engineering experience, with production data applications or AI workflows in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on Palantir Foundry experience preferred (pipelines, ontology, Workshop, code repositories).
• Experience with LLM-powered or agent-based features in production and human review loops.
• Experience embedding with business users or vendor delivery teams for co-development.
• Experience in regulated domains (insurance, healthcare, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and operates Foundry pipelines and transforms ingesting claims data into ontology-backed datasets.
• Implements ontology objects, link types, properties, actions, and restricted views per the canonical claim model.
• Builds examiner-facing Workshop applications and Functions presenting context and recommended actions.
• Develops AIP logic and agent workflows with provenance and human confirmation on critical actions.
• Collaborates with Palantir FDEs, business partners, data engineering, security, and AI teams to align with architecture standards.
• Implements authentication, markings, restricted views, logging, and monitoring for enterprise security and PHI handling.
• Integrates Foundry and AIP with enterprise systems using approved integration patterns.
• Troubleshoots pipelines, ontology, Workshop, and AIP performance issues; produces portable artifacts for reuse.
• Mentors other engineers and provides technical guidance on data, examiner workflows, and engineering standards.
