Job summary

Recruiting From Scratch in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Windows Sandboxes. This in-person role partners with enterprise customers from onboarding to production deployment, working with developers to understand architectures and integration needs.

You'll debug production systems, build reproduction cases, collaborate with core engineering to resolve issues, and help design reliable CI/CD and sandbox infrastructure while translating complex concepts for varied audiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing or field engineering role is described but not a strict requirement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary technical partner for enterprise customers from onboarding to production deployment.
• Understand customers' architectures, workflows, and integration requirements.
• Reproduce, investigate, and triage customer-reported issues across APIs, SDKs, CLI tooling, and sandbox infrastructure.
• Build minimal reproduction cases and diagnose production behavior to identify root causes.
• Collaborate with core engineering to resolve issues and drive fixes into production.
• Support integrations involving CI/CD pipelines, agentic workflows, and developer infrastructure.
• Help customers design reliable implementations using the company's APIs and tooling.
• Translate complex infrastructure behavior into actionable guidance for diverse stakeholders.
• Participate in technical discovery and scoping with prospective enterprise customers.
