Job summary

Webflow is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to design and deploy agentic workflows for enterprise clients. You will work across product, sales, and engineering to translate deployments into blueprints that shape Webflow's platform roadmap.

This remote-first role supports US and Canada (BC & ON) with an onsite onboarding in San Francisco, CA. Base pay varies by geographic zone, with eligibility for Webflow’s bonus program and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of solutions engineering, forward deployment, or similar customer-facing tech roles.
• Strong knowledge of AI, APIs, automation, data pipelines, and integration patterns.
• Strong front-end fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
• Experience designing and supporting systems that manage live web properties at scale.
• Experience with workflow automation tools (n8n, etc.).
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, scope projects, and deliver in first-of-kind contexts.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed for embedded engagements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with strategic enterprise accounts to map business-critical marketing and web workflows.
• Design and build agentic workflows using Webflow APIs, CMS, components, and AI capabilities.
• Build integrations between Webflow and external platforms (ads, analytics, CRM, DAM, data pipelines).
• Establish safeguards, observability, rollback paths, and permission boundaries from day one.
• Ensure deployments perform under production traffic and governance constraints.
• Document friction sources and distinguish systemic vs. customer-specific issues.
• Create reusable architecture blueprints and reference implementations.
