Senior Forward Deployed Engineer at Webflow to design, build, and operate production-grade agentic web workflows and integrations for strategic enterprise accounts, turning deployments into reusable architecture blueprints that shape the platform roadmap. The role is customer-facing, works across product, sales, and engineering, and is remote-first with an in-person onboarding in San Francisco.
Webflow is hiring a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to build production-grade agentic web operations for enterprise customers. You will partner with strategic accounts to design, implement, and harden agentic workflows and integrations, then turn those engagements into reusable blueprints that inform Webflow’s platform roadmap.
- Partner closely with strategic enterprise accounts to map business-critical marketing and web workflows.
- Design and build agentic workflows using Webflow APIs, CMS, components, and emerging AI capabilities.
- Build integrations between Webflow and external platforms (ad platforms, analytics, CRM, DAM, data pipelines).
- Implement human-in-the-loop safeguards, observability, rollback paths, and permission boundaries from day one.
- Ensure deployments perform under production traffic and meet governance and operational constraints.
- Document breakdowns in agentic workflows and distinguish systemic friction from customer-specific issues.
- Create reusable architecture blueprints, reference implementations, and shared learnings after engagements.
- Collaborate pre-sale to de-risk complex AI or integration concerns for strategic accounts.
- 4–6 years experience in solutions engineering, forward deployment, or customer-facing technical roles.
- Strong working knowledge of AI, APIs, automation, data pipelines, and integration architecture patterns.
- Experience designing and supporting systems that manage live web properties at scale.
- Experience with workflow automation tools (e.g., n8n).
- Track record of working through ambiguity, scoping projects, and delivering first-of-kind solutions.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for embedded engagements.
- Familiarity with agentic AI systems, LLM orchestration, and autonomous workflows.
- Experience with Webflow or similar visual development / CMS platforms.
- Remote-first role (United States; BC & ON, Canada). In-person onboarding required in San Francisco, CA.
- Zone A: $158,300 - $190,000
- Zone B: $148,300 - $178,000
- Zone C: $140,000 - $168,000
- Role is eligible for company-wide bonus program (target is a percentage of base salary).
