Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Manager and Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to establish and lead EY’s FDE capability for the Technology sector in US locations, including Dallas/Houston areas. You will work inside client environments, build production AI systems hands-on, and influence sales, delivery success, and reusable sector IP.

You will own end-to-end architecture for generative AI, RAG, and agentic programs, define reference architectures, and set safety and evaluation standards.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of applied engineering experience including AI/ML

Responsibilities

• Establish the FDE capability for the Technology sector and define role models and standards.
• Embed with senior client stakeholders and shape ambiguous problems into AI use cases.
• Lead solution shaping, proposals, pricing, and demos; build working prototypes.
• Own end-to-end architecture for generative AI, RAG, and agentic programs with guardrails.
• Stay hands-on: write code, review designs, and solve complex problems across teams.
• Define reference architectures and API strategies for decoupled client architectures.
• Set standards for evaluation, observability, security, and responsible AI.
• Turn delivery work into reusable patterns and platform primitives to accelerate sales and delivery.
• Build long-term client relationships and grow EY capabilities across AI and Data.
• Hire, coach, and develop FDEs and engineers; enable teams with AI tooling.
