Job summary

Zebra Technologies Corporation is seeking a highly technical Forward Deployed Software Engineer to lead deployment of Zebra AI products and engineer customized solutions for customers. You will work with internal engineering teams to address customer pain points and ensure successful product adoption.

The role requires on-site work with travel to customer sites, strong programming and AI model experience, and collaboration across multiple engineering disciplines to deliver complex AI-driven

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree or Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree, 5+ years with an Advanced Degree.

Responsibilities

Works on-site or closely with customer teams to remove technical blockers and guide adoption.
Designs and tests AI-driven software assignments in customer environments.
Provides leadership across engineering disciplines to influence program direction.
Develops AI-powered applications and data pipelines for on-prem and cloud use.
Represents the organization as a technical expert and principal customer contact.
