Zebra Technologies is seeking a seasoned software engineer to spearhead complex deployments of enterprise-grade cloud and Android solutions. You will work with key customers to resolve high-stakes technical challenges and influence internal engineering teams on architectural vision.

The role requires hands-on development, system integration, and documentation across software and firmware, with opportunities to mentor others in a hybrid US-based setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field is required.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience or 3+ years with an advanced degree.
• Proven experience in full-stack cloud solutions and diagnosing complex issues.
• Experience writing real-time code and taking initiative to resolve challenges.

Responsibilities

• Establish requirements for moderately complex software design projects.
• Prioritize features to maximize impact and value.
• Lead code reviews and address issues early in development.
• Complete all phases of design and development with quality inspections.
• Develop and test documentation including design specs and user manuals.
• Explore new technologies to enhance software designs and implementations.
• Review and refine existing designs to optimize performance.
• Provide technical recommendations across multiple domains.
• Build custom tools or scripts to aid analysis and debugging.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with stakeholders.
