Job summary

Synechron seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to design and ship agentic AI applications embedded with corporate teams, using Microsoft Fabric and Azure AI services to connect to enterprise systems. You will own the technical lead role in a small pod, delivering production-grade solutions in weeks, focusing on security, scalability, and governance.

You will prototype rapidly, collaborate with non-technical stakeholders, and define reusable patterns and guardrails for future engagements,

Qualifications

• Proven experience building agentic or multi-agent AI systems that run in production and serve real users.
• Strong command of state management, concurrency and authorisation for systems acting on a system of record on behalf of many users.
• Multiple languages in production: Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, C#, or Java.
• Hands-on integration with enterprise APIs and data platforms; design safe read/write paths and handle failures gracefully.
• Knowledge of modern AI application patterns: retrieval-augmented generation, prompt design, agent orchestration and MCP.
• Strong Azure experience; provisioning, configuring, deploying, securing and operating cloud resources end-to-end.
• Ability to prototype rapidly using AI-assisted development and fast iteration.
• Senior IC with autonomous decision-making and the ability to explain architecture to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and harden agentic AI applications that read from and write to enterprise systems of record, grounded on Fabric and Azure AI services.
• Embed with a Corporate Function team as the technical lead of a small pod—moving from problem to prototype to production in weeks.
• Own the end-to-end quality: security, reliability, scalability, observability, and safe write-back to source systems.
• Set and document reusable technical patterns and guardrails for the team to apply across engagements.
