Job summary
Eliza seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, Cyber to design and deploy AI-enabled security solutions for clients. You will lead discovery, architecture, integration, deployment, and handover, turning complex security challenges into practical capabilities in customer environments.
You will work remotely with substantial autonomy, collaborating with security practitioners, engineering teams, and partners.
Qualifications
- Deep practical cybersecurity expertise with hands-on blue-team experience and outcomes.
- Strong software engineering skills: production code, integrations, testing, maintainable design.
- Practical AI fluency: use of AI development tools and judgment on models.
- Experience deploying and troubleshooting software in cloud or customer-hosted environments.
- Clear customer-facing communication translating needs into technical requirements and acceptance evidence.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery with customer security and engineering teams to understand workflows, data, risks, and constraints.
- Define a tractable problem, baseline, architecture, and acceptance criteria; explain what to build, defer, or elevate.
- Align engineering work with measurable security outcomes and disclose scope and tradeoffs.
