Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is hiring a Sr. Fortinet SDWAN Engineer for on-site work across Jersey City, NJ, Plano/Dallas and additional U.S. locations.

The role focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining Fortinet SD-WAN architectures for a large enterprise, with emphasis on security policies and vulnerability management. The engineer will deploy Fortinet devices, monitor performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migrations and ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification or work experience on network infrastructure and IT systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with the Fortinet suite (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiAP, FortiSwitch).
• Proficiency in configuring and managing Fortinet SD-WAN solutions.
• Understanding of Firewalls, VPNs and IDS/IPS using Fortinet solutions.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Fortinet solutions to design and deploy Fortinet SD-WAN architectures in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Deploy and configure Fortinet devices and solutions.
• Monitor network performance and resolve issues using Fortinet tools.
• Integrate Fortinet SD-WAN with existing network infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain security policies and ensure compliance with standards.
• Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments and apply patches.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated SD-WAN incidents and network problems.
• Create and update documentation and inventories; mentor peers on Fortinet best practices.
