Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in San Francisco is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to drive the SD-WAN program within the Infrastructure Platform.

You will shape next-generation networking, security, and resilience through architecture work, collaboration with product and architecture teams, and hands-on design and delivery. You will own design artifacts (functional architecture, HLD/LLD), validate AI-assisted outputs, manage risk, and ensure audit-ready controls while aligning with business goals

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering is required.
• Hands-on SD‑WAN network engineering across design, implementation and support.
• Experience reviewing and validating AI-assisted recommendations for resiliency and security.

Responsibilities

• Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis and design documentation.
• Lead architecture, evaluation, and standardization of SD‑WAN technologies and solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and business units to define current state and future SD‑WAN direction.
• Develop design solutions and artifacts (functional architecture, HLD/LLD) and drive implementation with stakeholders.
• Capture and document requirements for systems of moderate to high complexity.
• Define next-generation SD‑WAN capabilities aligned to business outcomes.
• Drive product design deliverables and mitigate risks to ensure delivery.
• Lead test strategy and execution and support implementation across stakeholders.
• Apply security methodologies to network and systems design for secure services.
