Qualifications

• 5 years hands-on experience as a Formulator in a solid, full-scale manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Food Science, Nutrition/Dietetics or related field.
• Preferably in the dietary supplement or food & beverage industry.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to create customer-specific formulations and support quoting.
• Research and direct new product formulation from conceptualization through development and manufacture.
• Work with Operations and Production to troubleshoot formulation, processing, and equipment-related issues.
• Partner with QA to develop documentation and ensure regulatory compliance including supplement facts and labeling.
• Troubleshoot tablet and capsule performance, including coating and packaging durability.
• Source new ingredients, concepts, and formats; stay current on industry trends and technologies.
• Develop recipes and prototypes, integrating consumer insights into product innovation.
• Contribute to product and packaging configurations.
• Follow SOPs and quality control protocols to ensure product integrity and safety.
• Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
