Job summary

Reliance Private Label Supplements in New Jersey seeks a full-time on-site R&D Formulation Scientist to develop and commercialize nutraceutical products, conduct laboratory evaluation, pilot trials, technology transfer, and maintain rigorous technical documentation.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure GMP compliance, shelf-life assessments, and product stability while delivering projects on time.

Qualifications

• B. Sc or M.Sc in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nutraceuticals, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop nutraceutical formulations for tablets, capsules, powders, sachets, and effervescent dosage forms.
• Select active ingredients, excipients, flavors, sweeteners, and delivery systems based on product requirements.
• Conduct formulation development, optimization, troubleshooting, and product improvement activities.
• Prepare technical quotations and laboratory bench samples for customer evaluation and internal product development.
• Execute laboratory-scale development, pilot trials, and support technology transfer and commercial scale-up activities.
• Conduct stability studies and evaluate results to recommend formulation improvements.
• Evaluate new raw materials and support supplier qualification processes.
• Prepare and maintain Product Development Reports, Master Formulae, Batch Manufacturing Instructions, and SOPs.
• Support label review, ingredient verification, and regulatory documentation.
• Ensure GMP, GDP, and other applicable regulatory requirements are met.
• Manage change requests and documentation in ERP systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product commercialization.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in product quality and cost optimization.
