Cadeco Industries Inc. seeks an experienced Forklift Operator to safely move, load, unload, and organize materials in our Houston warehouse. This role supports shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks and may supervise a loading crew under the Warehouse Supervisor.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented, thriving in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Current forklift certification and warehouse experience are required, with bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold current forklift operator certification and complete company training.
• Previous forklift operating experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing.
• Must complete company training and evaluation before operating independently.
• Ability to maneuver equipment safely in warehouse aisles, loading areas, and other designated spaces.
• Basic math skills for recording quantities and weights.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, product labels, and safety procedures.
• Clear verbal and written communication; strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with others and help direct crew during loading/unloading.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate forklifts and other authorized material-handling equipment to move, stack, stage, and store products.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers, ensuring materials are properly handled to prevent damage.
• Lead and coordinate loading crew activities under the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Follow loading instructions, product identification requirements, and warehouse storage procedures.
• Verify product labels, item numbers, quantities, weights, and storage locations against shipping and receiving documents.
• Promptly report damaged products, incorrect labels, inventory discrepancies, misplaced materials, or other conditions affecting warehouse operations.
• Complete pre-use equipment inspections and report equipment damage, malfunctions, or unsafe conditions immediately.
• Follow equipment operating limits, pedestrian safety rules, and established warehouse safety procedures.
• Keep products clearly labeled, organized, and stored in designated locations.
• Accurately complete daily logs, inspection checklists, shipping/receiving records, and production reports.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas, loading areas, and surrounding warehouse spaces.
• Communicate equipment breakdowns, missing tools, material shortages, and other operational concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as assigned.
