Job summary

Elevate Human Capital is seeking a Forklift Operator for a client in the Houston area. The role involves safely operating forklifts and material handling equipment to move heavy products and materials throughout the facility and yard, supporting inventory control, shipping, receiving, and yard operations.

You will obtain and maintain forklift certification, perform routine inspections, and ensure adherence to all safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; GED or trade certification acceptable.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial, warehouse, or manufacturing experience.
• For advanced equipment, 3–5 years of relevant experience may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to transport materials throughout the facility and yard.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on forklifts.
• Support inventory control and yard activities.
• Follow safety policies and participate in on-call rotations.
