Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Forest Science/Management from SAF-accredited program or equivalent.
• Two years journey-level professional forest management with leadership experience OR three years entry-level professional forest management with timber sale experience.
• Knowledge of forest management theory and field station program oversight.
• Leadership, organizational, and human relations skills for coordinating area personnel.

Responsibilities

• Develop Silviculture program goals at the regional level and lead field assignments.
• Collect and analyze resource data and trends to inform decisions.
• Oversee budget preparation and contract administration for Forestry programs.
• Monitor Forestry Area Staff and deliver educational materials and trainings.
