We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with expertise in structural damage assessment and failure analysis of commercial, residential, and industrial structures. Experience in determining causes of structural failure, storm damage assessments, roof damage, building collapse, structural integrity, building envelopes, vehicle impact, tree impact, water intrusion, post-fire damage, construction or design defects is a plus.
This is a remote role working from a home-based office. It requires working in various environments and some travel (local or regional). Preference is given to candidates residing in the greater Denver, Boulder, or Colorado Springs areas. Must hold a P.E. license in the resident state.
To investigate events, systems, devices, and failures, providing expert opinions; to offer guidance and leadership ethically and scientifically on complex engineering assignments; to contribute to the company's profitability through engineering consulting services. As required by law, Sedgwick provides a salary range for jurisdictions requiring pay transparency. The starting pay range for this role is $125,000–$150,000, influenced by skills, experience, and location. A comprehensive benefits package is included, covering medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching, PTO, disability, life insurance, employee assistance, and voluntary benefits.
