Senior Forensic Structural Engineer, P.E.

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with expertise in damage assessment and failure analysis of commercial, residential, and industrial structures. Experience with causes of structural failure, storm and roof damage, building collapse, structural integrity, vehicle and tree impacts, water intrusion, post-fire damage, and construction or design defects is preferred.

This is a remote role based from a home office, with some travel required. Candidates should preferably reside in the greater Denver, Boulder, or Colorado Springs area and must hold a P.E. license in their resident state.

Primary Purpose

To investigate failures, provide expert opinions, and lead complex engineering assignments ethically and scientifically, contributing to the company's profitability through consulting services.

Responsibilities

• Survey property and casualty losses at various sites.

• Develop plans, reports, and documentation for clients.
• Maintain billable hours and project documentation.
• Collaborate with sales, legal, and other professionals to develop business opportunities.

Education and Licensing

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• PE license in the resident state; multi-state licensing preferred.
• Experience as an expert witness is a plus.
