Job summary

Aperture LLC invites an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead investigations of buildings and supervise multidisciplinary teams. The role focuses on forensic analysis, remedial design, and client management, with emphasis on regulatory compliance and project budgeting.

The ideal candidate will possess a PE license, NCEES record, 10+ years of relevant experience, and proven capability to testify in court. Massachusetts/Florida licensure and interstate eligibility are considered assets.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 10+ years of experience.
• PE license is required.
• NCEES record required.
• Experience in the continental United States.
• Experience testifying in court.
• Proficient technical writing ability.
• Ability to perform field visits to buildings/sites.
• Experience with building envelopes (existing and new).
• Experience with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Lead forensic analysis of building structures.
• Head multi-disciplinary investigations of buildings.
• Analyze problems and conduct field investigations.
• Articulate technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Testify at depositions and trials.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Support marketing and sales efforts.
• Design remedial repairs for existing buildings.
