Job summary

Aperture LLC is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to lead forensic investigations of building structures, manage multi-disciplined teams, and deliver analyses and remedial designs for complex cases across the United States.

The ideal candidate holds an ABET-accredited degree, 10+ years of Civil/Structural experience, a PE license, and proven court testimony ability, with strong technical writing and client management skills.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Proven experience with at least 10 years in the field.
• PE license required; NCEES record required.

Responsibilities

• Lead forensic analysis of building structures.
• Manage multi-disciplined investigations and remedial design.
• Conduct field investigations and prepare well-written reports.
• Articulate technical issues for non-technical audiences and testify when required.
• Build and maintain client relationships and support business development.
• Design remedial repairs for existing buildings and verify construction quality.
