You will perform hands-on field inspections, analyze damage, and develop practical repair recommendations for building structures made of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.

The role blends office work with extensive field time across the Greater Phoenix area.

Qualificações

• Active Arizona Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 4+ years of structural engineering experience involving residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.
• Hands-on field inspection or forensic investigation experience.
• Strong understanding of structural systems, materials, and engineering principles.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and conduct field work.
• SE license and forensic investigation experience are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead forensic structural investigations of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Conduct hands-on field inspections to assess damage, deterioration and failures.
• Investigate damage from foundation movement, fires, water intrusion, and other events.
• Analyze structural conditions and develop repair recommendations.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, calculations, and inspection documentation.
• Evaluate structures involving steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
• Collaborate with owners, contractors, clients, and teams to deliver solutions.
• Provide guidance on complex structural challenges.
• Support junior engineers and project coordination.
