Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced coursework in forensics or criminal justice preferred.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in evidence gathering and crime scene investigation.
• Experience leading crime scene staff or supervising assigned personnel.
• Certifications in latent print, crime scene, forensic photography/imaging, or DNA/bloodstain analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, supervise and review the work of subordinate staff; set schedules and evaluate performance.
• Assign tasks based on case priorities and staff expertise; monitor progress and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry standards and techniques; provide staff training.
