Job summary

Rimkus is seeking a Forensic Human Factors consultant to manage a range of multidisciplinary projects, perform field investigations and testing, and prepare expert analyses. You will collaborate with lawyers, clients, and engineers, conduct data collection, review standards, and deliver deposition-ready reports and affidavits.

The requirements include a master’s degree in a relevant field; Ph.D. and BCPE/PE licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field is required.
• Ph.D. in Cognitive/Experimental/Industrial Psychology or related field preferred.
• BCPE certification and/or PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a legal and/or proactive consulting practice.
• Complete site and product inspections.
• Meet with colleagues, clients, and other professionals to discuss cases.
• Prepare expert reports, deposition summaries, and affidavits.
• Research statutes, regulations and standards; provide written analyses.
• Organize and manage case files and evidence for review.
• Provide deposition and trial testimony.
• Track billable hours for cases.
