Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year of related experience.
• Texas Forensic Science Commission Forensic Technician License.

Responsibilities

• Perform extractions, quantification, amplifications, and load samples on the genetic analyzers for processing of casework samples.
• Maintain proficiency by completing proficiency tests per year.
• Assist in performing equipment maintenance, performance checks, and calibrations.
• Perform equipment checks and stock laboratories as needed.
• Provide court testimony as required.
