Engineering Systems, Inc. (ESi) is a leading firm delivering forensic engineering and failure analysis for law, insurance, and manufacturers.

The Civil and Structural team identifies damage causes and develops practical remediation strategies for complex projects. The position focuses on planning and directing cost estimation, damages quantification, and expert reporting, with opportunities to testify, present to clients, and mentor junior staff across national engagements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred; P.E. license a plus.
• Experience: 10-15 years in construction cost estimating or forensic consulting.

Responsabilidades

• Plans, directs, and coordinates forensic and consulting projects involving cost estimation, damages quantification, and defects analysis.
• Prepares and reviews detailed construction cost estimates and loss-of-use calculations for clients.
• Evaluates bids, change orders, and budgets; identifies overcharges, errors, and discrepancies.
• Reviews construction documents, contracts, specifications, and schedules for standards and scope compliance.
• Authors high-quality technical reports and expert opinions on cost and damages.
• Provides expert testimony at deposition and trial.
• Delivers client presentations and mentors junior staff.
