Job summary

Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi) is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead forensic investigations, structural analyses, and project management in the Civil/Structural Practice. You will develop local clients, perform field inspections, prepare technical reports, and mentor junior staff.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering with 4+ years’ experience; an MS is preferred. PE license is desirable and progress toward licensure will be supported.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• MS degree in Civil / Structural Engineering preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in structural engineering.
• Experience in a forensic or consulting environment preferred.
• Structural inspection and condition assessment experience preferred.
• Residential and/or commercial construction experience and/or materials lab investigation experience a plus.
• P.E. license preferred; ability to obtain a PE license within 2 years of employment will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop local clients and projects in the construction industry by working with regional staff and colleagues.
• Participate in business development activities including client meetings, conference participation, presentations, and relationship building.
• Represent ESi professionally in the marketplace and help expand its Civil/Structural presence.
• Lead cross-functional projects with peers across disciplines and offices.
