Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi) is seeking a Senior Consultant (Civil Structural) in Miami, FL. The role focuses on forensic investigations, structural analysis, and expert opinions for complex structural failures.

Applicants should have PE licensure and 10–15 years in civil/structural consulting, with strong report writing and client presentation skills. Travel and business development responsibilities are included in this senior position.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is required; SE license is a plus.
10–15 years of civil/structural engineering consulting or forensic experience.
Experience providing expert testimony is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Plans, directs, and coordinates forensic investigations related to civil and structural failures.
Conducts site inspections and evaluates damage, codes compliance, and construction quality.
Performs structural analysis and calculations to support forensic opinions.
Authors high-quality technical reports and expert opinions on civil/structural matters.
Provides expert testimony at deposition and trial.
Delivers well-prepared client presentations and contributes to BD activities.
Establishes project plans, staffing, and budgets for each phase.
Mentors junior staff and develops team capabilities.
