Job summary

CGS seeks a Senior Auditor to support district legal staff with medical claims data analysis, forensic investigations, and damages calculations. The role involves complex data analysis, evidence handling, and presenting findings to attorneys and investigators.

You will prepare expert reports, testify as required, and collaborate with independent experts while contributing to negotiations and case strategy in government investigations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in forensic financial accounting, litigation consulting, and/or health care fraud analysis.
• Resume must demonstrate understanding of rules of evidence, civil procedures, admissibility of evidence, and relevant policies for investigations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex financial records to identify payments, kickbacks, assets, cash flows, and damages.
• Analyze ability-to-pay settlements, including debt covenants, earnings, and tax considerations; develop payment terms.
• Identify, quantify, and understand related party transactions.
• Analyze healthcare claims and other data.
• Create financial damage models for litigation.
• Conduct asset valuation and records reconstruction.
• Develop computerized models to present financial evidence.
• Report on financial data and evidence; communicate findings to attorneys and investigators.
• Review defense presentations, expert reports, and arguments; work with independent experts.
• Prepare expert reports for litigation; participate in negotiations; testify as required.
• Provide training and presentations on data analysis tools.
