Job summary

Amazon seeks an experienced forecasting professional to join the Network Solutions Forecasting team in Seattle. You will build and refine forecasting models, analyze variances, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive cost and quality improvements in global customer service operations.

The role requires a strong background in advanced mathematics/statistics, ability to translate complex analyses into strategic recommendations, and effective communication with senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field (e.g., supply chain, engineering, finance)
• 5+ years as a forecasting analyst or similar
• Experience with SQL and at least one of R or Python
• Excellent verbal and written communication to share findings with executives
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Model forecasting problems and uncover insights using statistical, ML, and data-mining techniques
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze forecast variances and mitigation strategies
• Apply diverse tools and data sources to answer high-impact business questions and present insights clearly
• Communicate insights to non-technical audiences and drive issues to resolution
