Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Forecasting Manager for its Forecast and Strategy team. Based in Seattle or New York, you will model forecasting problems, leverage statistical and ML methods, and lead initiatives to optimize staffing and cost efficiency across Amazon Ads on a global scale.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze forecast variances, and present insights to non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Engineering/Economics.
• 5+ years of demand planning and forecasting experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce Long Range and Short Range forecasts for KPIs.
• Design, build and implement forecasting and planning tools for forecasting across Amazon Ads departments.
• Develop strategical staffing plans, including hiring plans and site strategy models.
• Maintain KPIs reflecting forecasting accuracy and impact on the business.
• Communicate insights and forecasting results to stakeholders up to VP level.
