Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Engineer II to lead forecasting efforts and coordinate with Brand Leads and senior leaders. The role focuses on building transparent, rigorous forecast models and guiding strategic decisions with data-driven insights.

You will analyze diverse pharmaceutical data sources, develop scenario planning, and present actionable recommendations to executives. The position allows for telecommuting where possible, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a related field and 6 years of experience in commercial forecasting or a related occupation.
• Experience with forecast modeling and market insights for biopharmaceuticals is required.
• Proficiency with Excel and probabilistic modeling tools is essential.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for Brand Lead and senior Therapeutic Area leaders to engage in forecasting deliverables.
• Facilitate consensus-building among stakeholders to align forecast assumptions.
• Identify actionable strategies to improve commercial potential by assessing risks and opportunities.
• Leverage global data sources to develop enhanced forecasting approaches and methodologies.
• Create presentations that clearly communicate key forecast variables to stakeholders.
