Job summary

Amgen seeks a Senior Engineer II to lead complex forecasting for brand assets. You will align with Brand Leads and senior leaders, build robust models, and quantify uncertainty with advanced simulations.

You’ll evaluate market dynamics, dependencies, and risks to guide strategic decisions across pipelines. You’ll leverage diverse datasets and AI tools to improve forecast accuracy, while collaborating with the CD&A organization to embed analytics best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management or related field.
• 6 years of experience in commercial forecasting, market analysis or consulting.
• Develop patient-based forecasting models and cohort projections.
• Proficient in statistical trending, time series and Monte Carlo simulation.
• Experience with IQVIA, National AuditRx, Xponent or similar datasets.
• Knowledge of payer landscapes and market access frameworks.
• Experience integrating AI tools for enterprise forecasting and planning.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact with Brand Leads and Therapeutic Area leaders.
• Facilitate consensus and establish transparent, rigorous forecast assumptions.
• Identify risks and opportunities to improve commercial potential.
• Create actionable guidance on product development decisions based on data.
• Develop forecast models using diverse pharmaceutical data sources.
• Present forecast insights clearly to stakeholders for decision-making.
• Collaborate with CD&A to enhance forecasting depth and accuracy.
