• Seven or more years of experience evaluating and interpreting data to formulate short and medium-range load forecasts for the bulk electric system with in-depth knowledge of the energy industry within an operations environment.
• Ability to identify risk and quantify uncertainty as it relates to load forecasting and renewable generation resources.
• Bachelor's in engineering, computer science, information systems, economics, mathematics, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Forecast and assess weather, load, wind and solar generation to support control room operations and situational awareness.
• Interpret data to determine impacts on load, wind, solar, outages, etc., and present risks and mitigation plans to management and forecast customers.
• Develop and improve forecasting methodologies related to large and non-conforming loads and communicate findings to non-technical audiences.
