Nike Retail Services in Beaverton is seeking a highly creative footwear designer with deep expertise in Performance and Lifestyle products. You will lead concept ideation, visualization, and tech-pack development, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team reporting to the VP of Footwear Design Excellence.

You will mentor designers, test new digital tools, and present concepts to internal and external partners. Strong aesthetic sense and proficiency in 3D/AI tools are essential for success.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in industrial design or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8 yrs experience designing and developing innovative footwear and other products.
• Knowledge of form, color, materials, and human factors related to elevating consumer experience.
• Ability to translate consumer insights into product solutions and narratives.
• Strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills.
• Strong sketching, illustration, visualization and rendering skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Ability to generate a broad range of concepts and solutions for each project.
• Experience with sustainable design and manufacturing is a plus.
• Proficiency with presentation tools: Keynote, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
• Fluent in 3D tools like Blender, Gravity Sketch, Fusion 360 or Rhino.
• Fluent in AI tools like Vizcom, Runway or Sora.
• Fluent in Illustrator, Photoshop and Keynote.
• 3D printing and prototyping skills are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead projects from sketch ideation, concept visualization, presentation through to tech pack and revisions.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to test, evaluate and recommend new digital design tools.
• Mentor other designers across Nike on new and innovative processes.
• Work on a wide range of footwear projects across performance, lifestyle and innovation.
