Job summary

Nike Beaverton is seeking a passionate footwear designer who is highly creative, with a strong aesthetic and problem-solving mindset. You’ll bring deep knowledge of Performance and Lifestyle footwear and be fluent in 3D and AI digital tools.

This team collaborates with a wide range of Nike teams, so a positive outlook and strong relationships are essential. You’ll lead projects from sketch ideation and concept visualization through to tech packs and revisions, while testing new digital design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial design or related field.
• 8 yrs experience designing and developing innovative footwear and other products.
• Knowledge of form, color, materials, human factors, related to elevating the consumer experience.
• Ability to translate consumer knowledge and insights into product solutions and narratives.
• Strong Photoshop, Illustrator skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from sketch ideation, concept visualization, presentation through to tech pack and revisions.
• Test, evaluate and recommend new digital design tools with internal and external partners.
• Mentor other designers across Nike on our new and innovative process.
