Job summary

Nike in Beaverton is seeking an Expert Designer, Footwear for Jordan Basketball to create performance footwear for signature and non-signature basketball models. You will work directly with professional athletes to shape world-class products.

You will lead concept development and collaborate with Materials, Color, and Graphic Design, while mentoring teammates and aligning with leadership. Travel to meet athletes and to overseas Product Creation Centers will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in product design or a relevant design field.
• At least 5 years of experience designing and developing innovative footwear products.
• Experience with a signature athlete, specifically basketball, is a plus.
• Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• 3D design program experience is a plus.
• Top-notch ideation and styling.
• Cobbling and prototyping skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead new creation design for performance footwear of the Jordan Brand.
• Collaborate with Materials, Color, and Graphic Design to shape concepts.
• Travel to meet athletes and to overseas Product Creation Centers as needed.
• Mentor other product design teammates and align with leadership on direction.
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive design team environment and strong feedback culture.
