Job summary

Talnt is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Manager to lead food safety, regulatory compliance, and QMS across multiple facilities. You will drive HACCP programs, FSMA compliance, and GFSI certification efforts, while guiding a high-performing QA team in a fast-paced production environment.

You will collaborate with Production, Operations, and R&D to embed safety into daily manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, tracking KPIs and delivering risk-based improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field related to food safety or QA.
• 7–10 years of progressive QA leadership in food manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with HACCP, FSMA, GMPs, and audits.
• Strong knowledge of SQF/BRCGS or other GFSI programs.
• Proven ability to lead multi-site QA teams and CAPA programs.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA, food safety, and regulatory programs across multiple facilities.
• Develop and improve FSMS, QMS, SOPs, and QA processes.
• Oversee HACCP, CCP monitoring, preventive controls, and verification.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA/FSIS, FSMA, and GMPs.
• Direct SQF/BRCGS and other GFSI certification activities.
• Lead CAPA, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Oversee sanitation, allergen management, and environmental monitoring.
• Manage holds, nonconforming materials, recalls, and traceability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed safety in operations.
• Set and monitor QA KPIs; mentor FSQA personnel and report to leadership.
